FAQ:
I can't log in. Plz help!
Please refer to this link: https://support.teachable.com/hc/en-us/articles/219852747#TroubleshootLoginIssues
If you are still experiencing trouble, try not to throw your computer at the wall quite yet. Instead, reach out to me, and I'll see if I can help.
I can't access my tutorials. Why not?
Ensure that you are logged in to the same account that you purchased your tutorials from (duh...and yet, I did the same thing). If you are sure you are using the same account, and you are still having trouble, do email me with your account information, and your purchase receipts. I'll look into it directly for you.
What devices can I watch the videos from?
You should be able to access the tutorials from any browser. There is a devoted iOS app that works best with iPhone, but not iPad. Word on the street is that Android support is around the corner, but for now, your desktop will probably provide you the best, fully immersive, interactive, absolutely mind-blowing experience. Also, keep in mind that the banners don't scale well to mobile. I'm still working on fixing that situation.
How long do I have access to these courses?
In theory, forever. In truth, as long as I maintain the website. Hopefully, with good growth through word-of-mouth, I'll be able to continue building these tutorials and creating new content. Just make sure to tell all your friends about the amazing content available here.
Can I download the courses?
Yes and no.
They should available online to stream for the lifetime of the business. Should for any reason the business need to close (hopefully, never), I will put out an email and provide a new source for download at no additional cost.
The iOS teachable app allows downloads and offline viewing from within the app.
How many times can I rewatch a video?
The power to replay is in your hands...assuming that the issue is not backend, and the internet itself is still up. All tutorials are online and ready for you to watch again, and again, and again, and again, and again...
And one more time.
Again.
What’s the difference between Extended Silent Tutorials vs normal Silent Tutorials?
I published Silent Tutorials on Instagram as something of a community contribution. To be honest, I put up techniques that I was simply tired of teaching in workshops, just so that the information could be "out there" and I could stop teaching them with a clean conscience. Silent Tutorials ended up being my most popular videos, and I received compliments on them everywhere I went.
However, in the process of creating them, I realized that I had to be "okay" with the idea that not everyone would be able to pick up all the important details. Certain safety and technique concerns had to be left to an individual's own judgement and their coach's advice. I just wouldn't be able to break down everything.
Thus, I decided to create Pole Ninja Tutorials and expand beyond the one-minute limit. You can think of Extended Silent Tutorials as tutorials with more intricate details and progressions, with quizzical quizzy quizzes to ensure a deeper understanding of what is demonstrated.
What does (Simplified) mean next to tutorial names?
It means that the tutorial has an extended, or will have an extended version with more information, content, and progressions. In other words, what is being provided is not the "complete" version of what I would ideally share, but I'm offering it anyway as a good overview.
Why are there non-Pole Ninja Tutorial courses also for sale?
Over the years, I've been asked to teach on video quite often. So I wanted to centralize some of those tutorials and also provide students materials from instructors that I could put my "name" behind. Any tutorial hosted on this website must meet a standard of quality in production as well as content.
How can I tell if these are suitable for my level?
Unfortunately, it is impossible to answer this for each individual for each course, accurately. All the tutorials will have valuable information that can be applied to many situations, and in particular, the Silent Tutorials are built to be extremely progressive starting from its base technique.
If you have any doubts, however, I recommend reviewing the promotional videos, consulting your instructor or healthcare professional, and following their advice.
If you do purchase something that you are unsatisfied with, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly. While I'm not Amazon, I'll do my best to make it right.
Why can't I log in to the iOS app?
Unfortunately, you must have a myTeachable account to access the iOS app. This is different from just creating an account on Pole Ninja Tutorials.
When I purchased a course, the "continue to course" button takes me back to the homepage or course page. How do I get to the course?
Most likely you've just created an account, and you haven't clicked on the confirmation email sent to your email for the account creation. Please do that first, and after you log in, you should see all your purchased courses under the "My Tutorials" link. If you did not receive an email, check your spam. Don't worry, me and just about every other bug tester made the same "mistake".
About this "mailing list" I keep hearing about. How do I get on it?
If you've signed up for any course, free or not, you're automatically enrolled (unless you opted out) in the Pole Ninja mailing list. If you have not signed up for any course (why haven't you?), then there should be a popup on the home page after about 5 seconds of browsing. If you don't see it, you may have an ad blocker, and if that's the case, you can email me (info below), or, again, sign up for any course on my website to be included.
What's the best way to contact you for help?
Please email me at doctorkenpoleninja [at] gmail [dotcom]. If you've a specific question on a technique or video, all videos should allow for comments directly within the course. If you've a specific question about personal injuries, health, or safety, please consult your personal coach or your health professional, first.
I unfortunately cannot provide individual health advice due to legal risks unless you are a pre-existing patient, and (not "or"), I really really like you.
